Hello, everybody!
We warmly welcome you--an earnest English lover and learner--to join our club and take part in the activities here. With the rapid growth of the membership, we sincerely hope you can get the chance and write down your ideas, thoughts and share with others your experience in studying the English language as well. Maybe you could write no more than two sentences at the very beginning. But it's quite believable that "Well begun, half done". If you keep on and never give up, you will make fast progress and achieve your final success. In general, "Practice makes perfect". So if you just want to read something and detest writing articles, there will be no change.
Next, I would tell you my experience in doing like this. As a teacher of English, working for a junior middle school in Nanjing City, I always try my best to find any chance for my language studying. i.e. I would read an English newspaper at the school meeting, :) and if there are no classes in the afternoon, that could be another good time. While I do the reading, I will find many good ideas and wonderful expressions, especially lots of idioms. Then, with the excepition of memorizing these phrases, I would write something on quite a strong impulse, using what I learnt just now. So when I get back home in the evening, sitting in front of the computer screen, I just start my writing work. I often find that I have many things to say and also, I can use more words and expressions, just after my reading in the daytime. Time flies. After several months, I have more ideas and a larger vocabulary. Could it be great progress?
Remember: Writing something in time and very often will make your way. I hope to learn something interesting from your writing next time.
Good luck with your English!
